A Note From Us

This weekend isn't just a wedding - it’s a celebration with the people who have shaped us, lifted us, laughed with us, and stood by us as we’ve grown. In whatever way you’ve been part of our journey—whether for a moment or for years—your presence means more than we can put into words.

From the beginning, we envisioned gathering our favorite people in one beautiful place to celebrate all the love in our lives. Not just ours, but all the wild, funny, imperfect, and extraordinary love that connects us all.

So we’re heading to the coast—not just to say vows (though yes, there will be rings, happy tears, and maybe some surprise dance moves)—but to hit pause on the daily grind and spend time with the people we hold closest. There won’t be city buzz, errands to run, or reliable cell service (we’ll just call that a bonus). What there will be is nature, belly laughs, cozy fires, unforgettable moments, and yes—plenty of snacks and wine.

We’ve chosen a place that feels both peaceful and full of possibility. So come as you are. Take a deep breath. Unplug a little. Wander a lot. Whether you’re into morning yoga or sleeping in, hiking along the cliffs or cheering on your favorite college football team, playing lawn games or perfecting your s’more technique—we want you to feel welcome and relaxed.

Our hope is that when the weekend ends, you’ll leave with a warm heart, a happy belly, a few new friends, and at least one story that starts with: “Remember that time at the wedding when...?”

We’re so excited to celebrate, connect, toast, and dance with you—by the ocean, under the stars, where the redwoods meet the sea.

With love and snacks,
Sachi & Stephen

Vibe Check

WHAT THE WEEKEND IS REALLY ABOUT...

Laughing so hard we snort (and maybe someone pees a little - we won't name names).

Eating with our hands. Napping without guilt.

Dancing like no one's watching (but hopefully someone's filming).

Making s'mores by the bonfire and questionable decisions by the bar.

Saying YES(!)...to love, adventure, new friends and more snacks.

Letting the weekend unfold with joy, ease, and just the right amount of weird.

We know weddings can fly by in a blur

Our intention is to slow things down
...just a little

The Playlist

WEDDING SOUNDTRACK

Every great weekend needs a great soundtrack. These are some of our favorites - songs that have soundtracked road trips, music festivals, barefoot kitchen dance parties and lazy Sunday mornings. Some of them might make it to the dance floor. Some are just for the vibe.

Pro Tip: Download the playlist ahead of time and listen on your drive to Timber Cove.
Windows down, music up!

Forever begins in...

We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Life is Too Short
for Boring Parties

WE'VE WAITED A LONG TIME FOR THIS,
GET READY TO PARTY ACCORDINGLY...

Let's Get this Party Started!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10
WELCOME PARTY | 5:30pm

Coast Kitchen (back patio)

Join us for light bites, wine, & beer.
Cocktails & other drinks available for cash & carry - cheers!

Attire: Cocktail
Kick off the weekend in style! Think "first night of vacation" vibes. Dresses, jumpsuits, button-downs, or your favorite statement tee are all fair game. We'll be mingling, toasting, and celebrating under the stars so pack that outfit that says, "this weekend's gonna be good."

The Prequel

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11
COUNT DOWN MODE

Saturday is all about soaking in the coast, making new friends, and leaning into vacation mode.

Attire: Casual
Saturday's vibe is easy - wear whatever you'd want to lounge in, stretch in, throw a bean bag in, or cheer on your college team in. Think cozy layers, comfy shoes, and your best "here to make friends" energy. It's a day for lawn games, laughter & low stakes shenanigans - no dress codes, just fun.

The Saturday Play by Play

Ease into the day with optional yoga - no experience needed.
Mats provided in your room.
Grab breakfast on your own or rally friends for a morning bite.

AFTERNOON:
Lawn & patio games, snacks and college football humming in the background.

We Do!
We Drink!
We Dance!

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12
The BIG Day!

Please arrive by 4:30 pm | Event Lawn
Ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 pm

Attire: California Chic
It's the main event - so bring your best slightly-fancy-but-still-you-look. Think garden party meets coastal cool: dresses, suits, or anything you'd wear to an outdoor celebration with views for days. Leave the stilettos and tuxes at home, but yes to linen, flowy fabrics, and the kind of outfit you'll feel great sipping champagne, watching us say "I do", and dancing the night away in. And don't forget to bring a layer for those ocean breezes!

What to expect on the BIG day

The morning is yours to relax, explore or recover from Saturday night. Sleep in, sip coffee by the sea, grab brunch at the on-site restaurant, explore the coast, hydrate, and rehearse your dance moves.

The Holy Sh*t, We're Married Part

After we say "I do", we'll sip cocktails as the sun sets, enjoy dinner under the stars, and dance the night away. Pour another glass of champagne and put your dancing shoes on - it's officially time to celebrate!

Coffee, Carbs, & Hugs

MONDAY, OCTOBER 13
FAREWELL BRUNCH | 9:30am

Coast Kitchen

Attire: Come as you are
Roll out of bed, grab some coffee, and come say goodbye. Pajamas might be pushing it (or not?), but cozy layers, baseball caps, sunglasses and yesterday's curls are all welcome. We'll be serving carbs, hugs, and possibly strong coffee - no judgement, just love. Mornings can be crisp so bring a sweater or something to snuggle into while you sip and schmooze.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the venue?

Timber Cove Resort is located along the Pacific Coast Highway about 2 hours north of San Francisco (91 miles) and 1 hour west of Santa Rosa (43 miles). The closest airport is the Charles M. Schulz (STS) airport in Santa Rosa. Other nearby airports include Sacramento International Airport (SMF) (2 hours and 45 minutes) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) (2 hours, and 15 minutes), depending on traffic.

ADDRESS:
Timber Cove Resort
21780 Coast Hwy #1
Jenner, CA 95450

If driving from Sacramento or San Francisco, budget extra time for Bay Area traffic. And while the Pacific Coast Highway is breathtaking by day, it can be winding and dark at night - please drive carefully!

Pro Tips:
• Program your GPS before you get to the coast - cell service can be spotty!
• Renting a car? Reserve early, especially if you're flying into the smaller Santa Rosa (STS) airport.

Where should I stay?

We’re so excited to have exclusive access to Timber Cove for the whole weekend — it’s a breathtaking spot right on the coast, and we’ve reserved rooms for each of our guests on property (yes, there’s one with your name on it!).

You should have already received an email from us with everything you need to know—including your room reservation and the contact information for our incredible planner, Lorie. If, for some reason, you didn’t receive that email, no stress—just reach out to Lorie directly and she’ll get you all squared away.

Lorie Lau
email: lorie@lvlevents.com
phone: 949.946.9030

We’re asking guests to stay a minimum of two nights to make the most of the weekend together—think bonfires, ocean breezes, starry nights, impromptu lawn games, and all the in-between moments that turn into the best memories. If you're thinking of extending your stay, let Lorie know so that she can coordinate with Timber Cove.

Prefer to stay nearby? Below are some suggested alternatives:

1) Fort Ross Lodge: <1 mile away from Timber Cove. Fort Ross Lodge offers a boutique number of rooms.

2) Sea Ranch Lodge: 18 miles north (29 minutes). The Sea Ranch area also has many Airbnb options.

3) Lodge at Bodega Bay: 25 miles south (44 minutes). Bodega Bay also has additional hotels in the area.

Will there be parking available?

There will be plenty of complimentary parking available on property throughout the weekend. Once you park, you won't need to move your car unless you want to adventure out and explore. There is a Level 2 charging station on site for those who may be driving EVs.

What's the weather like in October?

October is a typically one of the most beautiful times of year along the Sonoma coast: sunny days in the low 70s, cool evenings in the low 50s, and that signature salty breeze that likes to show up unannounced. Rain is a rare guest this time of year but its always smart to bring a light jacket - just in case the fog rolls in with some drama. Basically, it's coastal California doing what it does best. Think: sunny by day, sweater weather by night.

What should I bring (besides my best dance moves)?

Think California Chic - relaxed, stylish, ready for anything.

You’ll be lounging, stretching, toasting, dancing, hiking (maybe), bean-bag tossing (definitely), and laughing a whole lot—so pack accordingly.

Layers are your best friend (coastal weather loves surprises), and comfy shoes will serve you well for lawn games, wandering around the property, and busting a move on the dance floor. The good news? Your room - with your extra layers and backup shoes-is never more than a short stroll away.

For the ceremony and reception on Sunday, think: elevated but effortless
• LADIES: Flowy dresses, playful prints, chic jumpsuits - anything that moves well with champagne in hand. Heels are optional—wedges or sandals work perfectly.
• GENTS: Skip the tie. Embrace crisp shirts, breezy blazers, linen suits - whatever you’d wear to an elevated dinner party by the sea.
• ALL: Look polished, feel great, be dance-floor ready.

Need help with what to wear for Friday’s welcome party, Saturday’s shenanigans, or Monday’s carb-fueled farewell? Check out the Our Wedding Weekend section of the site.

TL;DR (Too Long; Didn’t Read):
• Bring layers
• Bring shoes you can play (and dance) in
• Pack one outfit that makes you feel unstoppable
• Don’t overthink it—we just want you comfy, happy, and ready for fun

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We have opted for an UNPLUGGED ceremony, and we kindly ask that there are no phones or cameras during our wedding ceremony.

That said, the rest of the weekend is very much a photo-op. Snap away! We definitely want to see the weekend through your eyes too.

Will there be vegetarian or allergy-accommodating options?

Yes! We will have a variety of options to meet specific dietary needs. If you have any allergies or restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP.

What dining options are there for the weekend?

We’ll have catered meals for the main events. The on-site Coast Kitchen offers seasonal, locally sourced dishes—including Sonoma cheeses, fresh seafood, and farm-raised meats—served with stunning ocean views.

There's also a small refrigerator in each room in case you want to bring your favorite personal weekend stash of snacks or drinks.

Nearby options:
• Fort Ross Store (1 mile) – great sandwiches and specialty items
• Safeway – 20 miles inland toward Santa Rosa
• Diekmann’s Bay Store – about 20 miles down the coast in Bodega Bay

Your Presence is Present Enough

We feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such thoughtful, generous, and loving people—and truly, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. No other gift is expected.

If you feel moved to give something, we have a few meaningful options that reflect our values and hopes for the future.

With love and gratitude,
Sachi & Stephen

BUT IF YOU MUST...

We've already collected our share of toasters, towels, and wine glasses. So instead of traditional gifts, we're asking for something a little more personal (dare we say, "sentimental"):

We'd love for you to share your best advice, your funniest story, your favorite memory with us, or something that is meaningful to you. It could be a photo, a quote, a recipe, a letter to our future selves - anything from the heart.

That said, we know some of you may still want to give in a different way, so we've included a few causes and options that are deeply meaningful to us.

SUPPORT PUBLIC BROADCASTING

In a time of shrinking public support for independent journalism and the arts, we’d be honored if you made a donation to NPR or your local public radio station in our name.

SUPPORT THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCATION

This cause is close to our hearts. If you’d like to contribute to the search for a cure and the support of families affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association would mean a great deal to us.

HELP FUEL OUR HONEYMOON ADVENTURES

We’re planning a post-wedding adventure filled with diving, hiking, flights, and shared meals in beautiful places. If you'd like to help us make a few of those experiences happen, we’ve made it easy to contribute directly or welcome any other way that is easy for you.
